1. Will vote to raise the income tax and make it progressive to lower local property tax as the latter is regressive and Medieval.
2. Will vote for a reduction in the state house and a reduction of its staff.
3. Will vote to a return of utility rate caps. Why do the utility companies need to make more? Is there an infrastructure issue? The concept of “choice” is a farce.
4. Will not vote for various pet "community development programs" unless they are scientifically proven to achieve a specific end state.
5. Will not vote to increase corporate profits at the expense of workers.
6. Will vote for a tax on the Marcellus Shale gas fields. I want the companies, the workers, and the people of PA benefit for a once-and-a-lifetime draw. Too many of our areas were exploited and then abandoned by large, distant corporations in the past.
7. Will vote to close the Delaware loophole; if you reap benefits from PA, you should pull your own weight, just like some of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines do everyday in far-off lands.
8. Will not vote to toll Route 80 as it’s a Federal highway; will only toll it if 100% of the funds go to its upkeep.
9. Will not vote to privatize Route 76.
10. Will not vote to reduce defined state retirement benefits—the state legislature caused the problem and needs to fix it at their level.
11. Will vote to stop state legislator pensions and will not accept one (I will, however, purchase years of service with my school district).
12. Will vote for the interests of our district and not that of the party writ large.
13. Will serve but one term if elected as I believe the state house is filled with too many nefarious people who betrayed me and my men while we were fighting for our lives in Fallujah, Iraq. I believe that the leadership class of this country is wanting—esp. in the legislative branches.
14. Will not "play nice" with legislative leaders if I find them to lack integrity, patriotism, or objectivity. My election would be a direct message about our displeasure with too many legislators--REP and DEM.
15. Will support HB 1660 (Single Payer formed around Medicare). Talk about forging a healthy business environment! Talk about fairness...
